- Downward-facing Dog Pose – Adho Mukha Svanasana (adho = downward; mukha = face; shvana = dog)
- Upward-facing Dog Pose – Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (urdhva = rising or tending upward)
- Cobra Pose – Bhujangasana (bhujanga = serpent)
